| Here’s an excerpt from a news article about a paddled cheerleader. The father is outraged over the paddling and other overly harsh penalties that would not have been imposed on male athletes, but were imposed on his daughter. He greatly opposed men paddling his pretty 17-year-old high school senior, but in the end he relents after she begs him to allow her to “take the paddling” administered by two men. | | Be warned ahead of time parents. If you allow your child to attend a paddling school, even if you think you have the “safety” of parental consent at that particular school and you think you will simply never give the consent to allow her to be paddled, think again. The men at that school want to paddle her. They hold all of the cards, decide all of the rules, and decide all of the options. Guess which one will seem, to a naive teen girl worried about a long suspension or loss of a sport she loves for a trivial violation, the only reasonable “choice” when our paddle lovers get done with her? They deliberately “stack the deck” very heavily to make paddling seem the least harmful choice. Sooner or later they will “make her an offer she can’t refuse.” She will very likely be paddled in an abusive way for a trivial offense. It is also likely she won’t tell you, they won’t notify you, and you will never know. You also might “know” some aspects but not the abusive details. Even if she escapes becoming a direct victim she might nonetheless be traumatized or sexualized to spanking just by associating with friends who are being ritually abused by the school staff and being around when it happens. | | The time to take action is far ahead of time. You’ve got to start building the ark a long time before the rain starts to fall if you want to float your children above the ocean of child abuse. Never allow your child to attend any paddling school, even if they offer the “parental permission” cop out. They will eventually coerce your pretty teen daughter to want to be paddled more than some stack of alternate punishments they concoct. If you ever hear of it at all you will be heavily pressured to "go along." Alternately they’ll just “forget to ask” and paddle her anyway. In some cases, even in schools where parents are told they have the "option" to protect their children from beating, the child will nonetheless turn 18 and “choose paddling” herself. They won’t have to ask your permission then because your "child" is, ironically, a legal adult. The sexual brutality that she is coerced into at graduation was, however, conceived the day, perhaps many years prior, that her parents enrolled her into the paddling school. | | Protecting your daughter from lifetime damaging physical and sexual trauma that we euphemize as “paddling” is an issue that needs to be addressed from the moment you choose where to buy your first house, or rent your first apartment, if you are in the child bearing years. The school staff that like to paddle, and they all do if they can, will stack the deck with severe alternates in such a way that good students like this cheerleader are strongly coerced to “choose paddling.” You can, in fact, "mind-read" exactly what school staff like to do by the choices they create for sexy teens who are, nonetheless, too old to manhandle. In her case I suspect she knew the men wanted to paddle her. She was begging to be allowed back on the cheerleading squad and perhaps she hoped that by letting them spank her, and submit to what she knew they desired to do, that they would be more likely to let her back on the team. | | Her dad was a good man with the right attitude. He could see his daughter was being assaulted in a sexually perverse way “for discipline.” Like all parents of children in paddling schools he was, however, powerless. He could not prevent her from “asking for the paddle option” at that point. | | The basics of the case involved a 17-year-old Texas cheerleader, in the extremely abusive Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex not surprisingly, paddled by two men in 2000 for smoking. She was also kicked off from the cheerleading squad for the entire year and had to pay a $135 fine to the police. She was treated more harshly than other students were because she was a cheerleader. She was also punished more harshly than the male athletes would have been—and that is the only reason this story made the news. Two men paddling a teen female cheerleader was in fact, “routine.” The ugliest and most sexually abusive aspect of the case, that the girl’s father felt was sexually abusive as well, happens thousands of times in that area every year. The pornographic paddling of a pretty teen cheerleader by two men, possibly legally videotaped as that school’s policy specifically approved, for later pornographic amusement or any other reason, would not have made any kind of news by itself. | | Two men paddled her. Her father did not want to give permission, and without a doubt sensed the sexual abuse and harassment aspects, but ultimately relented when she begged him to give it. We’ll visit this case in more detail later as well. | |
